Coming fresh off the heels of his dual release of Criminal Acts and Criminal Zones on the Sud Swap family labels, Ottawa musician TJ aka First Kings now becomes part of the Sea of Clouds roster with his new album The Whole Room Was Exploding Out Into Space. Inspired by a quote by William Burroughs, First Kings conjures eight ambient soundscapes representing a cosmic journey through heavenly realms bathed in light to dark afterlife domains. Somber, brooding and jazz-infused, but also very adventurous, this is one for the fans of the strange and experimental.
